The good work of Little Ponderosa |

Little Ponderosa Zoo and Rescue dedicates itself to providing a safe and secure home for abandoned abused and neglected exotic and domestic animals. James Cox, founder and director of the non profit, recently adopted two coyote hybrids from The Oak Ridge Animal Shelter. As their coyote lineage prevented them from being adopted out to the general public, he saved them from certain euthanasia. Little Ponderosa Zoo and Rescue believes their responsibility toward wildlife extends beyond just safeguarding the animals in their care. As the weather gets cooler, climate control for many of the animals is crucial. The zoo would like for the community to know that donations are always greatly appreciated and much needed, especially at this time of year.
